New Student Account Information
All Northeast State students will have the following accounts:
Active Directory - Login to the network, including WiFi
Desire2Learn - D2L Brightspace Learning Management System
Students enrolled for Fall 2023 will not be able to access D2L until after the first of August. Access to materials for individual classes is controlled by the class instructor.

Sign in with your Northeast State username. You should have received your username with your admissions acceptance letter.
Your password is your network login password, which is initially set to your 6-digit date of birth - MMDDYY - no dashes or slashes, and the last two digits of the year.
When you first log in, you will be prompted to set up at least one additional authenticator for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). You can choose text message, Okta Verify app, Google Authenticator app, and/or Security Question. We recommend that you set up a security question in addition to your other authenticators, just in case you don’t have access to your mobile phone.
You should also set up self-service account unlock/password reset by entering a secondary email address (not your Northeast State email address).
Once you have completed this one-time setup, you will have access to all of your applications in one place.
